Product Description
New polished race ready distributor to fit any Pinto engine made with no vacuum and uprated springs to give a shorter curve allowing for faster acceleration. This unit can be fitted in minutes with no extra wiring although please note that it must be run with the ford Duratec 11 ignition system as fitted to all cars with standard Ford electronic ignition. This distributor can replace all Bosch, Motorcraft and Formoco units. If your original unit is not fitted with the Duratec 11 ignition system, we can supply both the ignition module and create a brand new wiring loom for you, please contact me for more details.
Please note idle speed will need to be adjusted 800rpm to 1000rpm this will allow the engine to run smoothly.
